Hello,

Trimester Training are here to make you feel comfortable to exercise whilst pregnant and beyond!

We are all about empowering you to know when it is safe to go that bit harder, or allow our body to have a rest. We want you to have no hesitation signing up for a class, knowing that you will be able to participate in all the exercises. Gone are the days of side lying exercises on repeat whilst the rest of the class do ab exercises! We are about YOU and what YOUR body needs during this wonderful time.

At Trimester Training we offer Pilates, gym-based and home-based programs. We are mobile and can come to you in the comfort of your home! Our programs focus on functional movement and moving bodies in all directions.

Meet Jess

As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and mum of two, Jess knew there was a better way for pregnant women to remain in, or commence, a physical lifestyle when pregnant. It can be very daunting for an expectant mother to be recommended to exercise with little or no guidance of how, and it is now her mission to change that.

The idea of Trimester Training sparked when Jess was pregnant with her first child and found it difficult to participate in community classes without ‘boring’ modifications or feelings of halting the class.

Jess is a huge supporter of an active lifestyle and would love for this to be accessible for all mum’s and mum’s-to-be. Jess has over 10 years’ experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and implements evidence-based practice with all her work. She is Pilates trained and is always adding to her repertoire. Jess strives to empower and educate women to know how to best nourish their bodies with exercise and cannot wait to personally help you!

What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) has a minimum of four years tertiary education and completes continuing professional development on a yearly basis. AEP’s specialise in clinical exercise interventions for people with a broad range of health issues. Interventions are exercise-based and include education, advice, support and lifestyle modification with a strong focus on achieving a behavioural change. AEP’s work closely with other Allied Health Professionals to achieve your personal goals.
